John Widtsoe Building (1901)
The original building was designed by Richard Kletting and was renovated in 1931 by Cannon-Fetzer architects.31, 32 By 1959 it was the Physical Science Building, then in 1960 it was changed to the Chemistry Building.15, 29 For two months in 1976 it was the Mathematics building before being officially renamed the John A. Widtsoe Building.18, 28 It was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
