Education Research Building (1941) This building was moved to its current site within the historic period, between 1954 and 1956 from two separate locations: "The Church Triangle," south of the Jon Huntsman Special Events Center, and the area just east of Building 101.3, 10 The center portion of the structure, acquired in 1947, was originally the Induction Building for the Army (Building #413).7, 26 In 1950, the 413 portion was being used for the Speech Clinic.10 While still the Speech Clinic, it was moved to its present location circa 1954.10 Building 201, previously located just east of where Building 101 now stands, was cut into two pieces in 1956 with one part placed on the North and one part on the South of Building 413 to form the current structure.10, 17 Building 201, acquired in 1948, was used as an Administration and Recreation building by the Army and then as a Men's Dormitory in 1950 by the University.10, 17 In 1959 Building 413 was listed as the Speech and Hearing Clinic.29 Beginning in 1971, still Building 413, it was known as the Middle East Center and is currently (1997) the Education Research Building.25
