Radiological Health (1941)
Designed by the Office of the Post Engineers and originally a recreation facility for the Army, this building was acquired by the University of Utah in 1948.4, 7, 32 It was listed as being used for storage in 1959 and was probably used for this since its acquisition by the University.16, 17 It was assigned to the Department of Zoology for the hibernation physiology research in 1960 and 1961, and was Radiological Health as early as 1976.4, 16, 17, 18, 26, 29 There is a well preserved stone retaining wall on the site which contributes to the integrity of the building.
