Gross Anatomy Lab (1941)
Originally an administration building for the Army and one of the support buildings for the Reception Center as discussed in the overview, it was acquired by the University of Utah in 1947.4, 7 In 1950 it was the Department of Political Science and Sociology.10 It was moved from the NE corner of "The Church Triangle," south of the Jon Huntsman Special Events Center, in September of 1959 and remodeled for use as the Gross Anatomy Lab from being janitorial storage.7, 26, 29
