Welcome to the home page of the Utah Planning Student Organization (UPSO). The UPSO is both the Utah student group for the Utah Chapter of the American Planning Association, and the Urban Planning student organization of the University of Utah's College of Architecture and Planning!
The 2007-2008 school year is a new and exciting year for both the UPSO and the planning department. With Tom Sanchez, our new program chair, and a brand new Executive Committee, there will be many improvements, much needed change, and more student involvement between students, faculty, and the Salt Lake Valley in the way of improved communication, monthly events, and an all new Mentorship Program.
To contribute your talents to the UPSO, or to be 'in the know' simply check out our "Projects & Events" section for ways to get involved. Feel free to browse our web site and contact our secretary when you are interested in becoming a member or should you have any questions or comments.
Make Time - Get involved - it's your organization and your career.
